JOHN EGAN
Co-Founder & Principal
John Egan is a nationally recognized E-Rate expert with 19+ years of experience helping K-12 schools and libraries secure critical technology funding. And with more than 30 years of senior leadership experience with AT&T and Cox, he leads their operations team of E-Rate subject matter experts and process masters, who are passionate about the future of K-12 education.
He co-founded GETFUNDED with his wife, Karen, developing deep program expertise and a hands-on approach to strategic funding compliance, approval and appeals. His decades of senior levels of experience in business development, finance, systems, and technology have enabled him to master the E-Rate program, maximize school funding year after year, and be recognized as a leader in the industry.
His expertise has helped hundreds of institutions secure the funding they need to modernize and grow. He’s regularly asked to present at annual trade-shows and Charter School conferences.

KAREN EGAN
CMO & Co-Founder
Karen Egan developed an extensive background with leading companies such as AT&T, Xerox, and CPT while working within departments of technology and business development. With over a decade supporting Fortune 100 companies, along with small and mid-sized organizations, her career has spanned to sales, marketing, business development, and management.
Combining her expertise in technology and business, along with a strong commitment to supporting K-12 communities, she has been instrumental in building GETFUNDED into a trusted E-Rate consulting partner.
Karen focuses on organizational growth and long-term strategy, while advancing the company's mission of ensuring K-12 schools and libraries secure their necessary technology funding. She’s also becoming well-versed in AI, focusing on the pros and cons of AI in the K-12 learning environment.
